The sensory garden offers something for everyone, raised beds full of fragrant flowers and plants, a water feature and somewhere quiet to sit and watch the world go by.

Foxes and pheasants regularly visit the neighbouring fields. You can wander for hours exploring some of the 50 miles of Hertfordshire bridleways and footpaths.

In such idyllic surroundings it’s hard to believe that you are within easy each of London, Cambridge and St Albans – ideal for those times when you need a little retail therapy. The historic county town of Hertford is just over a mile away with an excellent range of shops, restaurants and pubs. Children will love the nearby Paradise Wildlife Park.

Carriage Driving for Wheelchair User

For those who prefer to see the view from a horse’s back there are riding and stable management courses. We can arrange carriage driving which offers a unique way of seeing the surrounding countryside for wheel chairs users. There is also a Scope riding centre in nearby Royston. *

 

We will do everything we can to make you feel at home – Your favourite food can be ordered in advance so you can totally relax after your journey. We welcome quiet well-behaved dogs.
