Situated within working riding stables the cottages offer a unique combination of peace and activity, catering to a wide range of tastes. You can wonder for hours exploring some of the 50 miles of bridleways and footpaths. Or sit quietly with your favourite book.

In such idyllic surroundings it’s hard to believe that you are within easy reach of London, Cambridge and St Albans – ideal for those times when you need a little retail therapy. The historic market county town of Hertford is just over a mile away with an excellent range of independant shops, restaurants and pubs.

You wake to the sound of bird song … nature right outside your window. You can watch songbirds such as Tree Creepers, Gold Crests, Long Tail Tits, and Nuthatch feeding. Foxes and pheasants regularly visit the neighbouring fields but if that’s not enough adults and children alike will love the nearby Paradise Wildlife Park.

We will do everything we can to make you feel at home – Your favourite food can be ordered in advance so you can totally relax after your journey, you don't even have to leave you best friend behind as we welcome quiet well-behaved dogs.
